We have been incorporating our Family Input into the program to extend onto the children’s learning. Jacki has offered the children some Citizenship coins. To reinforce the concept behind these coins, Educators provided exploration of Australia by offering Australian puzzle, poster and flag craft. We also plan to participate in our local community next week with an excursion to the Lowanna shop to purchase goods and discuss the role that we play in our community. This will ensure that the children are exploring EYLF Learning Outcome 2•1. Children develop a sense of belonging to groups and communities and an understanding of the reciprocal rights and responsibilities necessary for active community participation
